Reconstructive
54-year-old Asian female. She complained of watery eyes, difficulty seeing when reading and seeing her eyelashes in her vision. The watery eyes were corrected prior to eyelid surgery. She requested to see more of the area to place eyeshadow (in medical terms this is called the "tarsal platform show").
Procedures: bilateral upper eyelid ptosis repair (external), bilateral upper eyelid blepharoplasty.
Timeline: 3 months after surgery. Note: eyelid swelling will continue to improve over the next 3 months.
